£55,000 salary (92k OTE uncapped)

They have a cloud-based platform which is powered by big data analysis that allows customers to plan, optimize, and measure campaigns based on real-time content performance.

 

Our client is seeking a Manager to lead the Sales Development team in London. This is an incredible opportunity to lead a team of Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) who are dedicated to calling into potential customers, qualifying leads, and setting up prospective client meetings for the Senior Sales Team.

 

Core Responsibilities

  • Responsible for ongoing development of the Sales Development Representative Team which includes mentorship and training
  • Work with the Recruitment and HR team to hire qualified candidates for the SDR team
  • Manage a team of entry-level and experienced outbound sales reps responsible for prospecting, qualifying, and sourcing new clients to Account Executives
  • Conduct daily activity review meetings and coaching to direct reports
  • Report on team activity and forecast to Vice President of Demand Generation and other senior sales management
  • Monitor activity of the team and track results on a daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis
  • Partner with Account Executive management team to drive overall region success.
  • Maintain high morale while still pushing for high performance: creative incentives/awards, run contests, plan team events, etc.

 

What You Need

  • A Bachelor’s Degree is preferred although not essential
  • Sales management experience essential
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience in a SaaS or B2B sales environment
  • Well versed in Salesforce.com or managing sales cycle through a CRM
  • Proven record of success in a high volume transactional sales environment
