Job Description

Job Title: Sales Development Representative (SDR)

Location: Manchester Deansgate Hybrid/On-site

Salary: £25,000 – £30,000 Base

Reporting to: Sales Director

The Role Overview

We are looking for a high-energy, ambitious SDR to join our growing Manchester team. As a Microsoft Gold Partner, we specialize in delivering high-impact solutions across Dynamics 365, Azure, and Microsoft 365 (including Copilot). Your mission is to identify mid-market and enterprise-level organizations in the UK, engage key decision-makers (CTOs, IT Directors, CEOs), and build a pipeline of qualified opportunities for our senior consultants.

Key Responsibilities

  • Pipeline Generation: Proactively identify and engage prospective clients through a multi-channel approach: cold calling, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and personalized email sequences.
  • Lead Qualification: Use the BANT (Budget, Authority, Need, Timeline) or MEDDIC framework to qualify inbound leads and outbound prospects.
  • Product Storytelling: Articulate the business value of the Microsoft ecosystem, specifically how AI (Copilot) and Cloud (Azure) can solve modern business pains.
  • Strategic Research: Identify “trigger events” (new hires, funding rounds, office moves) that indicate a need for IT infrastructure changes.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with Marketing to refine messaging for campaigns and ensure a smooth hand-off of qualified meetings to Account Managers.
  • CRM Hygiene: Maintain 100% accurate records within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Sales (our internal CRM).

 

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Experience: 612 months in a B2B sales or lead generation role (SaaS or Tech preferred), but we also welcome hungry graduates with a “hunter” mindset.
  • Tech Savvy: Familiarity with the Microsoft stack is a huge plus. You dont need to be a developer, but you must understand the difference between Azure and AWS, or Dynamics and Salesforce. While knowledge of our industry is not a necessity, the ideal candidate should have experience in using CRM (Dynamics, Salesforce, Monday etc)
  • Communication: Exceptional verbal and written English. You should be comfortable navigating “gatekeepers” and speaking to C-suite executives.
  • Resilience: Sales is tough. We need someone who views “No” as “Not yet” and thrives in a target-driven environment.
  • Local Presence: Ability to work from our Manchester hub at least 23 days a week and typically meet once a month at our head office in London for a sales team get together.
