Having free reign over which clients you target makes this an incredibly unique opportunity but also huge opportunity to become and expert in a niche you have a keen interest in.
What does the progression look like here? You’d start out as an entry-level SDR and be set achievable targets to then step up into a business development manager…to a team lead (within 3 years of starting)…what next? Wherever your strengths lie, you can carve out next steps with your manager. Want to manage people? Great, that can be a great way to financially reward you for leading a successful team of SDRs to hit their targets. Couldn’t think of anything worse than managing people? That’s ok too…you’ll still be promoted but given responsibilities that you believe you can excel in.
You’re new to the sales industry so you won’t be left to your own devices right away, don’t worry! You’ll benefit from 4 months of thorough training provided by Prime on what will really help you hit the ground running. Cold call openers, who to target, key questions to ask a decision maker and essentially how book that meeting (and lots of them)! You’ll not only be provided with external award winning training but be surrounded by top performers in the industry. With over 40 years experience in what good looks like, you’ll be in the perfect place to grow as a salesperson and have every question answered by those who know best.

What does the role entail?
- Cold calling businesses YOU want to work with
- Booking meetings with key decision makers
- Shadowing meetings with senior members of the team
- Going out and meeting clients/the final product of your hard work
- Creating your own pipeline – be proactive, not reactive!
Are you a good fit? What traits do you need to bring to the role?
- Drive – you’ll be entering an entry-level position but you don’t want to be there forever. Work hard to get that promotion secured!
- Money motivated – this role has uncapped commission, so you can make upwards of £35,000 in your first year. What financial goals have you set yourself to achieve?
- Strong communication skills – this is a phone heavy role. You need to be confident taking inbound calls but also outbound.
- Coachable – there’s no expectation for you to be the finished article so be willing to learn and implement feedback fast
- Driving licence – you’ll be going out and about so this is a non-negotiable
